Joe C. Michelback, age 58, passed away July 28, 2004. A lifetime resident of Albuquerque, he worked for Julian Garcia Toyota. Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Michelback. He is survived by his sisters, Stella Michelback, Isabel Molina, and Patsy Flores and husband, Leroy; sister-in-law, Lorrie Michelback; half-sister, Virginia Trujillo; aunts, Florence Lopez, Louisa Jones and Mela Castillo; numerous other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2004. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2004. Cremation will follow and his remains will be buried at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be David Michelback, Lawrence Michelback, Anthony Moya, Jerome Michelback, Eric Rodriguez, and Gary Moya. Honorary pallbearer will be Gabriel Rodriguez.
