Solomon G. "Tootsie" Chavez, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. Solomon was born on January 16, 1925 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, July 28, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
