Franka Thompson, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, July 25, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Miller; and husband, Roger of Huntington Beach, CA; sons, Mark Edster and wife, Mitzi of Carmen, OK, and Greg Edster and wife, Jeanne of Joplin, MO; stepsons, Robert Thompson and wife, Katy and Stephen Thompson, all of Novada, CA, Donald Thompson and wife, Andrea of Grass Valley, CA, Lee Thompson and wife, Raquel of Oakland, CA, and George Thompson and wife, Sara of Long Island, NY; 11 grandchildren, Jenna Weil and husband, Tad, Niki Lyles and husband, Patrick, Jacob Edster, Tristin Edster, Chris Edster, Jack Thompson, Mykael Thompson, Thom Thompson, Jedon Thompson, Eghan Thompson, and Amund Thompson; one great-grandson, Chance Weil. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence T. Edster in 1970, and Lewis A. Thompson in 2000. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Los Altos Christian Church. She was an artist who had many talents and interests. Private entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Los Altos Christian Church, 11900 Haines NE, with Rev. Christopher Wilson officiating.
