Lyle Harding Main, 83, passed away in a local hospital at 12:31 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2004, surrounded by his beloved family. Lyle is survived by his son, Robert Main; daughter, Beverley Main Delgado, her fiancee, Ronald A. Chavez and their son, Nicholas Alan Chavez; granddaughter, Danielle Delgado; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois and Helen of New York and Dortha of California; and nephew, Ernie Lange of Albuquerque. Lyle spent twenty-four years in the Air Force and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He retired as a Master Sergeant and spent the next seventeen years working for the Civil Service at Kirkland Air Force Base. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Burial services will follow at Sandia Memorial Gardens, 1022 San Pedro Drive NE, where Lyle will be with his wife, Adele and their oldest son, William Earl Main.
