Nell D. Littlefield, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2004. She retired at the age of 62 from New Mexico BankShares Corp., the holding company for SunWest Bank, where she worked as the benefits administrator. Previously she worked in personnel and handled payroll for Albuquerque National Bank. Prior to that she was employed as credit manager at Stromberg's Clothing Store. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by a brother, Frank L. Donald and his wife, Mary of Largo, FL; two daughters, Jeanne A. Willis of Vancouver, WA and Susan V. Washburn of Portland, OR; three grandchildren, James C. Willis of West Springfield, MA, Catherine A. Washburn of Peoria, AZ and Joseph C. Willis of San Diego, CA; two great-grandchildren, Kimberly Willis and Michael Willis, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear close friends. A private service will be held at a later date. Her family has asked that donations be made to the American Heart Association, NM Affiliate, P.O. Box 90790, 87199-0790.
