Josephine (Josie) Duran, age 93, passed away in North Little Rock, AR, on February 10, 2004. Formerly, she was a long time resident of Albuquerque. She is survived by daughter, Linda Poulton and her husband, Steve; and grandson, Eric, all of Little Rock; and sister, Mercedes Sacoman of Santa Fe, NM; as well as many devoted nieces and nephews. At her request, she was cremated and will be interred next to her husband, Ben Duran, who preceded her in death in 1988. The Interment Service will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery Chapel on Firday, July 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. The same evening there will be a Memorial Mass at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Albuquerque at 5:30 p.m. with reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
