Obituary for WALRAVEN

Louise Walraven, age 79, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, died on Sunday July 18, 2004. She was born on April 11, 1925 to William Jahn and Chloe McEhaney, in Norman, OK. She moved to Albuquerque when she was three years old. Survivors include one son, Warren Jahn; one sister, Evelyn Marrow and her husband, Darrel; one brother, Ernest Jahn and his wife, Nancy, all of Albuquerque; two twin grandsons Mark and Bruce Jahn; one great-grandchild, Allan Jahn; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very close friends, Vada and Carmen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fowler Walraven; her mother, Chloe Jahn; and her father, William Jahn. Mrs. Walraven enjoyed sewing, canning, crocheting, and probably has crocheted enough afghans to cover the town. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 21, 2004 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Services will be held on Thursday July 22, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, with Reverend Mark Stefanov Officiating.
