Robert F. Vining, 68, a resident of the Albuquerque area since 1977, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 19, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Collene Vining of Los Lunas, NM; sons, Michael Vining and wife, Marie, and Steven Vining and wife, Vicki, all of Albuquerque; daughters, Valerie Foster and husband, Steve, of Albuquerque and Lynette Bump and husband, Tom, of Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Preston, Bailey, Joseph, Cassandra, and Justin; sister, Veta Vining and brothers, Harry Vining and Wesley, Edison and Clifton Morris. Bob was born in California and moved to Minnesota as a young child. He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1977 having served in Viet Nam. Bob retired from the US Postal Service in 1998. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 24, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Col. Lemuel M. Boyles, USAF (Ret.) officiating.
