Byron F. "Barney" Borgman, born July 1, 1919 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, completed his journey July 8, 2004. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Ferne Borgman; his sisters, Maxine Johnson and Ruth Egolf. Surviving him are his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Greg Garcia; and granddaughters, Amanda and Alexandra; son, Tim Chavez; grandchildren, Kelly Smith, Kristi Tenorio, Jim Grayson, and their parents, Norman Grayson and Myra Grayson; sister, Janice Reed and husband, Luther; brothers, Charles Borgman and wife, Sandy, Ernest Borgman and wife, Dorothy; loving niece, Dana Etscorn; nephew, Byron Reed; special great-niece, Shelbi Etscorn; and numerous other wonderful nieces and nephews. He had many enduring friends whose life he touched in countless ways. We thank Dr. Daniel B. Freedman and the Presbyterian Heart Group; Barbara Waggoner and the ICU staff of Presbyterian; and very special thanks to Hospice at Anna Kaseman Hospice. Memorial Service will be held on July 11, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Grand Court Chapel, 300 Valencia SE in Albuquerque.
