Mrs. Julia S. Lopez, 93, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2004. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her children, Mary C. (Sally) Sanchez and husband, Henry, Racheal De La O and husband, Roger, Grace Van Caster and husband, Bob, Susanna Tickerhoof and husband, John, Betty J. Sutton and husband, Bill; three sisters, Trinidad Morales, Deluvina Romero and Nina Onava; two brothers, Benny Sandoval and wife, Declora, Jose Sandoval and wife, Rose; 14 grandchildren, Deann Fafrak, Tina Stuckman, Fred Sanchez, Lisa Lucero, Robert De La O, Brian and Chris Van Caster, Carmelita Fisher, Schane and Selina Sutton, Julia Thorpe, Robert and James Tickerhoof and Rene Carson; 32 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Pablo F. Lopez; sisters, Maria Romero and Aurora Leugenesse; and a brother, Ambrosio Sandoval. Mrs. Lopez was a member of San Jose Catholic Church and a foster grandparent for 30 years. A visitation for Mrs. Lopez will be Wednesday evening, July 7, 2004 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Betty Sutton and Carmelita Fisher. A final visitation will be Thursday morning, July 8, 2004 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Sanchez, Schane Sutton, James Tickerhoof, Robert Tickerhoof, Brian Van Caster, and Robert De La O. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Van Caster, Jim Fafrak, William Stuckman, Jason Lucero, and Gerald De La O. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd SW 243-7861
