Gary Dean Archibeque, age 39, passed away June 19, 2004 in Show Low, AZ. He was born in Santa Rosa, New Mexico and was raised in Vaughn, NM. After graduating from High School he attended college in Las Vegas, NM. He married Barbara Chavez and lived in Albuquerque, NM, together they raised their daughter Erin. In 1997 they moved to Show Low. Gary worked at Foxworth Galbraith and as a reserve fire fighter. Gary met Stacy Wilson and they were married last year on May 24th. Gary loved Stacy's 2 children and was even in the process of adopting them. Gary loved fishing and hunting. Occasionally he would go golfing. He loved sports and was very involved in Basketball, Football & Track during his youth. Gary is survived by his wife Stacy of Show Low; daughter Erin (Kyle) Dowdy of Mesa; Stacy's children, Shawn & Amber; his parents, Norbert & Barbara Archibeque of Vaughn, NM; 2 brothers, Norbert (Joan) Archibeque of Rio Rancho, NM, & Justin Archibeque of Vaughn, NM; 1 sister, Margaret (Hank) Vigil of Albuquerque, NM; several nieces and nephews; and Stacy's grandparents, Tom & Carm Kemper of Arivaca, AZ. A Rosary will be held at 8:00 P.M. Thursday June 24th 2004 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday June 25th 2004 at St. Rita's, with a visitation one hour prior to the Rosary & Mass. On Sunday June 27th there will be a Rosary in Vaughn, NM. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M.
