Obituary for SHIRLEY

Sara J. "Sally" Shirley, age 89, of Delmont, PA died Wednesday, June 16, 2004. She was born October 19, 1914 in Islin, PA; daughter of the late Elwin and Florence Irwin. Sally retired in 1976 from the Kiski area school district where she worked as a maintenance worker. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Delmont, PA; was an enthusiastic square dancer who enjoyed traveling and playing cards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Scott Shirley; and brother, Dale Irwin. Surviving are her husband, Donald O. Shirley; son, K. Wayne Shirley and his wife, Joan of Albuquerque; two daughters, Donna Earnest and her husband, Barrett of Delmont and Joy Morsaint and her husband, Dane of Carnegie, PA. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. a the Wolfe-von Geis Funeral Home, Inc., 5701 Lincoln Ave. Export, PA 15632 (724) 327-1400 where services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with the reverend J.R. Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Export.
