Obituary for BROWN

Clifford J. Brown, Ret. Lt. Col., USAF, a resident of Albuquerque, died on his 86th birthday, Sunday, June 13, 2004 after a long illness. He is survived by his daughter, Tina; his son, David; a grandson, Michael, all of Albuquerque; and a sister, Janet Downing, of Florida. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Marion (Larry) Brown, in August of 1986. Lt. Col. Brown was retired from the USAF, 8th AF, 305th Bomber Wing. An ex-POW in Germany during World War II, he was proud of his accomplishments as a navigator of B52 and B17 planes during the war. After retiring from the USAF, Lt. Col. Brown was a valued employee at the FAA in Albuquerque for more than ten years. Cremation has taken place with private services to be arranged.
