Obituary for BROWNE

Barbara Browne, 67, passed away on June 12, 2004, due to complications from an injury. Ms. Browne was raised in Braintree, MA and has lived in Albuquerque since 1978. She was an active member at St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church. Barbara was also a member of the Bear Canyon Senior Citizens' Center, with whom she loved to travel. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Martin of Albuquerque and Sharon Browne, of Edgewood; a sister, Mary Catto and husband, Anthony, of Braintree, MA; two grandchildren, Christopher and Tamra Martin; a niece, Lisa Litterio; and a nephew, Denis Catto. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Blair. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2004, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Place NE. She will be interred privately at Santa Fe National Cemetery with her husband, Tsgt. Robert Browne. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, or to the Scholarship Fund For the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design at UNM, 2414 Central SE, Albuquerque, NM 87131.
