Obituary for SPRAGG

Robert S. Spragg, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1982, died on June 14, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Spragg of Albuquerque; son, Brian Spragg and wife, Margaret of Newport Isle of Wight, England; daughter, Sandra and husband, Colin of Newport Isle of Wight, England; three step-sons, Arthur Holland of Phoenix, Daniel Holland and wife, Robin of Ft. Collins, CO and John Holland of Albuquerque; two step-daughters, Angela Sisneros and Yvonne Brown; three grandchildren, Karen Longworth and husband, Dan, Michael Spragg and Lynda Mumsford and husband; 5 great grandchildren; 21 step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters and one stepson, Larry Holland. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Volcano Cliffs Ward. Robert served in the British Army. Friends and family may visit on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the relief society room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Volcano Cliffs Ward, 6009 Kachina Rd. NW, service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Bishop Jeff Payne, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. Pallbearers will be Carlos Bianco, Ed Phillips, Michael Carlisle, John Tye, Harold Rushington and Pat Tucker. Friends and family may visit French Mortuary - Westside Chapel on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Missionary Fund, C/O Volcano Cliffs Ward.
