Pearl Mader Mellone, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died on June 12, 2004, after a long illness. She was born on August 21, 1924 in Montreal, Canada. When Pearl was two years old, she and her family moved to Gloversville, New York. Pearl relocated to Albuquerque in 1966. She was retired from Sandia National Laboratories. Pearl is survived by two sons, Edwin J. Mellone and his wife, Linda and Mark G. Mellone and his wife, JoAnn; her grandchildren, Erica Mellone, Shanon Lehman and husband, Clark, Jennifer Mellone, Vanessa Mellone and Michael Mellone; and great-grandchildren Tyler Lopez and Kirk and Lance Lehman. A private service will be held in Gloversville, New York at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl's memory to the Animal Humane Association of Albuquerque, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108.
