Frank A. Romero born January 3, 1922 resident of Corrales passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of May 25, 2004. Frank is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eufracia (Frazie) Romero and his two daughters, Esther Otero and Victoria Caldwell and husband, Charles. Five grandchildren, Joanne Brown and husband, Ken, Frank (Art) Otero and wife, Bernadette, Erica Sweeney and husband, Brian, Daniel Segal and Ryan Segal. Four great-grandchildren, Joseph Otero, Paul Otero, Austin Brown, Hailey Brown. Sisters, Alice Romero, Rosemary Martinez and husband, Leo, Theresa Chavez and husband, John. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Bonefacia Romero and his beloved son, Frank A. Romero Jr. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A rosary service will be held at Vista Verde Chapel in Rio Rancho Friday at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church, which Frank and his family helped build and attended for many years. A special thank you goes to the paramedics, volunteer fire department and police department of Corrales. Donations would be kindly appreciated for the Corrales Volunteer Fire Department which Frank was the chief for many years.
