Jimmy E. Nieto Sr., 68, went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2004. He was born on May 19, 1936 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Nieto is preceded in death by his daughter Dorinda Nieto. He is survived by his wife Edwina (Edie) Nieto; son, James Nieto Jr.; daughters, Shelley Mora and husband Leroy, Roberta Zozaya and husband David, Nadine Nieto and Stephanie Nieto; brothers, Lawrence Nieto and wife Carla, Bruce Nieto and Mary Ann, Manuel Nieto and wife Vicky and Tony Nieto and wife Dorothy; sisters, Esther Sanchez and husband Joe, Lupe Vigil and husband Pete, Rorie Maez and Charlene Castillo; grandchildren, Marlon, Michelle, Mario, Marlene, Danielle, Matthew, Marlo, Sheena, Mikela and Marcos and great grandchildren, Mario, Marlon, Rudy, Brian and Mya. Jimmy will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Art Sanchez, Leroy Mora, Matty Romero, Marlon Mora, Mario Nieto and Larry Marquez.
