Louise R. Pembroke, 93, longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Oliver (Coach) L. Pembroke and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rickabaugh and brother, Phillip. Louise retired from teaching in Grants, Alamogordo and in Albuquerque at Washington Junior High, Valley and Highland High. Ollie and Louise enjoyed retirement with extensive traveling in Europe, Mexico, South America, China and Australia. Memorial services will be held on May 29, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle NE. The Reverend Christine Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Louise's name may be made to the First Unitarian Church Endowment Fund.
