Darlene Diane Schifani. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Diane was born November 12, 1926 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and died May 14, 2004 of cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orla Victoria and Clarence Elmer Anderson of Pipestone, Minnesota. Diane is survived by her husband, of 57 years Joseph Daniel Schifani; daughters, Pati Pfeil and husband, Robin Pfeil of Buffalo, N.Y., Cindi Schifani of Albuquerque; son, Ricky Schifani of Santa Fe; two grandchildren, Scott Pfeil and Kim (Pfeil) King, both of Buffalo; three great-grandchildren, Joey, Nick and Alyssa King of Buffalo and several other nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Robin Pfeil, Scott Pfeil, John King, Larry White, Ron Jowers and Sonny Pate. Honorary pallbearer will be Ray Kuhn. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 6:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel (visitation hours will end at 9:00 p.m.). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 19, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
