Obituary for SLACK

Edward Joseph Slack Sr. 72, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 25, 2004. He was born April 15, 1932, in Joliet, Illinois. Mr. Slack was a firefighter in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. He went on to work at Joliet Junior College retired, and moved to Albuquerque in 1988. Mr. Slack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-father. Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy J. Slack, and son Edward Joseph Slack Jr. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lorraine and David Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Charles Bart of Mesa, Arizona, and stepdaughter and son-in-law Cathy and Rick Webster of Morris, Illinois. Grandchildren, Richard Bart, David Sanchez, Steven Sanchez, Chrystal Slack, Edward J. Slack III, Meagan Slack, Shelby Slack, step-grandchildren Christine Webster, and Ryan Webster. Great-grandchildren, Dillon Bart, Ashley Bart, Jeron Sanchez, Alexis Sanchez, Arielle Sanchez, and Isaac Garcia. Services will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, Tuesday May 4, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, 764-9663. We love you Dad and you'll always be in our hearts.
