"Tony" was born on June 13, 1923 in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he attended St. Michael's High School. He attended Kansas University and received his degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico. He worked for the Atomic Energy Commission and the Department of Energy for over 30 years. He continued to work for Spectra Research Institute from 1986-1996. He met and married his beloved wife of 53 years, Connie, in 1950. They were married at St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe. Tony was an avid runner for many years. He ran in several Duke City Marathons, and ran daily until recently. "Grandpa" loved spending time with his granddaughter, Alyssa, who enjoyed his love for telling "corny" jokes, fishing and basketball. He enjoyed stream fishing throughout his life, and met many wonderful friends upon his outings. Tony loved animals especially his dogs, whom were part of the family. Tony loved the company of good friends during coffee at McDonald's. He was a compassionate caretaker to many family members especially his beloved wife, Connie. Tony lived a long, happy and active life. His generosity, friendship, laughter and zest for life will be greatly missed.
