Helen H. Harrison Qualls, 87, of Escondido, CA died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 following a long illness. She lived in Albuquerque for 31 years prior to 1985. She was employed by ACF Industries and the New Mexico PSRO from which she retired. She was a graduate of Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee, Fla. She had been a member of St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church in Albuquerque. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jay Vesterfelt of San Diego; her son, Robert Harrison of Escondido; her grandsons, Chris Harris of San Marcos and Mike Harris of Chicago and their families; granddaughter, Tracy Vesterfelt of Port Orchard, WA. She is survived by two great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers in Daytona Beach, Fla. where she was raised. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2004 at Dearbourne Cemetery in Poway, CA.
