Chris H. Arena, 21, died Friday, April 16, 2004. He is survived by his big brother and best friend, Tim Arena and Tamra Parada; daughter, Leticia (Star) Arena; Jeanette Gonzales, her daughter, Maria, and unborn son; father, Tim Arena Sr. and Tina Wilson all of Albuquerque; mother, Lydia Arena and Audie Holmes; grandparents, Ray and Agapita Owens all of Las Cruces, NM; grandparents, Willie and Margene Harrell of California; aunt and uncle, Layle and Raymond Owens of Las Cruces; nephews, David and Devin Bracamonte of Las Cruces and Jeff and Cody Harrell of California; step-brothers, Timmy and Tommy Wilson of Albuquerque; great-grandmother, Conny Arena of California; grandfather, Joe Arena of California; two uncles, John Arena and Matt Harrell of California; cousins, Twilla Arena, JJ, Josh, Christine and Selina Garcia. Chris was loved by his best friends, Martin and Dominic Montoya and Travis and Gatlin Ortiz, "we love you." Christopher was an avid motorcyclist, and he enjoyed remote controlled vehicles, trucks and working with engines. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and he will be missed and loved by family and friends alike. Anyone that ever met Chris knows that he left a part of himself with them. If you knew Chris, you knew a friend. Services will be held Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating. Cremation will follow.
