Robert Transito Abeyta, 51, entered his place in heaven on April 16, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Liz, his sons, Michael, Richard and wife Ericka, Robert and wife Jackie, Christopher, and step-daughter Valerie. He is also survived by his twelve siblings, Dorrie, William, Elviria, Mary, David, Raymond, Gabriel, Cindy, Alberta, Lisa, Hilario, and Alberto. He is survived by his grandchildren, Mikey, Ricky, Ray, J.D., Bianca, and Nathaniel, several in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime friend, Henry Rael. Rob loved woodworking, animals, and baseball. He was a proud Marine, and a hard worker. He loved the Lord deeply and was a humble, compassionate man who was not afraid to cry. Public viewing will be held April 19, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 1200 Atrisco Dr. SW. Services to follow immediately. Burial to take place at the National Veterans Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charitable organization of your choice. Pallbearers will be: his four sons and his two nephews, Gilbert and Kevin. We will miss you, but we will see you soon, make us some coffee.
