Obituary for WALKER

William E. Walker, a 50 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 25, 2004. He was born on November 17, 1916 to Carl D. and Grace Walker in San Antonio, TX. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force from 1935 to 1957. After retiring from the Air Force he went on to retire from the Civil Service. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and a longtime member of the Shrine. William was also a member of the Solo Club of Albuquerque and made many lifelong friends with them. William is survived by his daughters, Billie Day and Fran Ridens; his son, Jeff Walker; his companion, Wanda Gordon; six grandchildren; and a host of beloved friends and loved ones. William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at exactly 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors by the Kirtland Air Force Base Honor Detail.
