Allan C. Johnson, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 2001, passed away Monday, March 22, 2004. He was born on May 14, 1930 in Rochester, NY. Mr. Johnson graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1958 with a degree in Photographic Science. He was employed at EG&G, Inc. as an engineer, where he worked for 5 years in Las Vegas, NV; 7 years in Boston, MA; and 21 years in Los Alamos, NM. He retired after 33 years with the company. Mr. Johnson was an active member of the Bear Canyon Senior Center and particularly enjoyed playing table tennis and pool. His beloved wife, Patricia; son, Kevin and wife, Kathe; grandsons, Ryan and Eric; daughter, Cynthia Johnson; daughter, Carlene Stewart; granddaughter, Miranda; daughter, Christine Johnson; son, Keith and wife, Christina; grandchildren, Samantha, Darryl and Dana survive him. Mr. Johnson was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving friends Friday, March 26, 2004, at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association-NM Affiliate, PO Box 90790, 87199-0790.
