Violet Maxine passed away March 19, 2004 in Folsom, Ca. She was born in Beloit, KS on October 1, 1910. After graduating from Beloit High School, she worked as a secretary and hearing clerk for the Civil Service. She worked at this profession in Washington D.C., Panama, Colorado and New Mexico. She retired in New Mexico at the age of 84 after over 50 years of service. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Truax and brother-in-law, Louis Truax of Folsom, CA; sister, Charlene Hayes of Hayes, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
