Sharon Smith, 73, a resident of Albuquerque for 14 years and a former resident of Gallup, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004. She is survived by her son, B. J. Smith and wife, Tammy of Flagstaff, AZ; 3 daughters, Suzanne Smith of Denver, CO, Sherri Smith, Staci Blatchford and husband, Mike all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Matthew Tanner, Jacob Blatchford, Nick Tanner all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Shawna Tanner of Albuquerque; brother, Jay Thorton and wife, Irene of Eugene, OR; sisters, Arlene Gayton and husband, Ronnie of Ft. Yates, ND, Joyce Luger and husband, Mike of Bismark, ND; and former husband of 26 years, Billie D. Smith of Cyril, OK. Memorial rosary will be held Saturday, 12 noon at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Clarement Ave. NE. Memorial services with follow will Deacon Pilar Garcia officiating.
