Obituary for NORTHCUTT

Virginia Lois Budlong Northcutt, born July 15,1910, Died March 17, 200404. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Gerald D. Northcutt and her only sister, Rose Budlong Northcutt. She is survived by her daughter, Joetta Northcutt McKeefer and her husband Jon Harvey McKeefer of Allen, Tx., two grandsons, Jeffrey Douglas Miller of Dallas and Gerald Mitchell Miller of Fontana, CA; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Paige, Marshall and Mitchell, Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Blanche Northcutt Laswell and her husband, C. William; and many other dear friends and relatives. She was a graduate of Missouri State College and moved to New Mexico after marrying Gerald. Virginia loved New Mexico and everything it had to offer. Both mom and dad were avid supporters of the Lobo sport program. They loved round dancing and square dancing She was very active in the Progress Club and dental auxiliary in which she held offices. She loved to travel, read, work crossword puzzles and fish. She loved life and was a fighter. She was a charter member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church and a deacon. Her membership at the time of her death was at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. She came to the Dallas area after the death of her husband to be near her only daughter. We love her and will miss her. Her cremation will be in Texas, and graveside services will be April 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial with Rev. Mike Elliott of Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating.
