James E. Jackson, 59, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died Thursday, March 11, 2004. He is survived by his spouse, Beverly Jackson of Albuquerque; daughters, Monica Jackson-St. John and husband, Christian of Albuquerque, Sherry Jackson of Scottsdale, AZ, and Christie Jackson of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Alex Neff, Brittney Neff, Alexxa Nieto, and Sabrina Nieto; brothers, Hubert Payne and wife, Myrtle B. of Geiger, AL, and Bobby Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Ellayne McCoy of St. Louis, MO, and Barbara Turner of Chandler, AZ; mother-in-law Bobbie Bracken of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Casteel and husband, Jesse and Sondra Isaminger and husband, John, all of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Jackson was born in Geiger, AL and raised in Lincoln, NE, where he worked as a chef. After moving to Albuquerque in 1969, he worked as a body and fender man, was an excellent painter, and a jack-of-all-trades. He was always thought of as a family member to his friends, not just a friend. Services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2004, 2:00 pm, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
