Henry L. Wong Sr. (Wong,Chew Pien), 64, loving husband, father, father- In-law and grandfather passed away on March 11, 2004. Born in Canton, China and immigrated to the United States in 1953. He was a resident of Albuquerque since 1967. He owned and operated The Chinese Garden Restaurant for 16 years. He was a renowned Chef in Chinese Cuisine and other fine foods. He is survived by his loving wife, Jolene J. Wong; his son, Henry L. Wong Jr. and wife, Mellissa; grandsons, Christopher and Matthew Wong all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; and several other honorary grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at Fitzgerald & Son from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with Wake Service to immediately follow. Services will be on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Chapel with Pastor Tom Pennington officiating. With respect and love of Henrys wishes, cremation will follow. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Wong, Bill Wong, Geng Phuey Wong, Alan Wong, Steven Wong, Simon Wong, Neil Briganti, Dave Fleming, Vince Abeyta Jr., Roland Martinez Jr., Renee Ullrich, Jessie Calzada, Rita Calzada, Gilbert Savedra Jr., and David Savedra.
