Maria Flora Ortega, age 56, passed away on Saturday March 06, 2004 at her home in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on August 14, 1947 to Isabel and Esther(Gonzales) Padilla Sr. in Socorro, NM. She is survived by her husband, Reynaldo Ortega Sr. of their home in Albuquerque; Son, Reynaldo Ortega Jr. of San Antonio, NM; Daughter, AnaLisa Ortega of Las Cruces, NM; Brothers: Herminio Padilla of Albuquerque and Luis Padilla of San Antonio, NM. Sisters: Carla Santillanes of Socorro and Alicia Hidalgo of Polvadera, NM. Grandchildren: Diana Ortega Mari-Hannah Ortega, Reyanna Ortega, Tyler McCall and Aubrey M. McCall. A Rosary was recited on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Antonio Catholic Church with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Pedro Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Reynaldo M. Ortega Jr., Nathan Lucero, Arsenio Ortega, Jaime Hidalgo, Don Davilos and Rudy Ortega. Honorary Pallbearers are: Alex Matcham, Amancio Fernandes, Adan Padilla, Joe Santillanes, Raymond Hidalgo, Julian Ortega Sr. and Flora's grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
