Carlos C. Chavez, 78, went home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2004 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melita Chavez. He is survived by his son, Fred Chavez and his fiancee, Josette Montoya; and other family members, grandchildren, and great -grandchildren. Rosary will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. N.W. Burial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery
