Anna Belle Border, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Friday, March 5, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Patty Vasquez of Albuquerque; son, Ronnie Tobias of Reading, PA; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister. She was a member of Northdale Baptist Church. Anna Belle was a state employee for 19 years and a prominent member of the American Business Women's Association and Mountain View Rebekah Lodge # 36. Anna Belle loved making friends with anyone she met and collecting things. Services will be Wednesday, time pending, at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lovelace/Sandia Hospice, 5403 Gibson Blvd. SE, Siesta Hills, Bldg. 1, 87108.
