Joel Martinez, 36, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2004. He is survived by his mother, Dolly Mora of Albuquerque; one brother, Rey J. Mora and girlfriend, Angela Chavez of Albuquerque; one sister, Monique Mora of Albuquerque; two children, Jolene and Steven; and one granddaughter; grandmothers, Ramona Mora and Gertrude Chavez of Albuquerque; his closet friend, Robert Gurule of Albuquerque; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who love him. He is preceded in death by his father, Jaymen Martinez; and grandfather, Luis Chavez. Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 5, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. A Communion Service will also be held on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Deacon Tibo Chavez officiating.
