Anthony Martinez, recently tragedy struck the City of Pueblo when Anthony passed away. Tony, as he was affectionately known, was originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. he came to Pueblo in the early part of the 70's. He lived in Pueblo most of the last 33 years, minus a few years in the 80's. Having made his fortunes in Real Estate, Tony was though highly of. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan B. Martinez and mother, Ernestine Martinez; his two sons, Anthony Michael Martinez III in 1979 and William Joseph Martinez in 1986. Tony is survived in life by his son, Daniel John (D.J.) Martinez of Albuquerque. Also he has two brothers, Ted and J.V. of Albuquerque and his brother, Joe, of Chula Vista, CA. Tony has one sister, Susan of Albuquerque. Tony we remember you fondly and loved you. God Bless you, Tony. Donations for Tony can be made at the United Leukodystrophy Foundation, 2304 Highland Dr., Sycamore, ILL 60178. Tony will have final services in Albuquerque. his cremains will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A Rosary will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2004. A mass the following day at 9:00 a.m. The burial will be Friday at 11:30 a.m.
