Edwin W. Jobin, 84, a resident of Albuquerque for six years having moved here from Palatine, IL, died Monday, March 2, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda R. Jobin of Albuquerque; daughter, Diane Beisler of Albuquerque; son, Roger Jobin and wife, Barbara of Hoffman Estates, IL; grandsons, Robert Paul Beisler of Albuquerque and Mason Jobin of Hoffman Estates, IL; granddaughter, Amanda Jobin of Long Beach, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Jobin served his country during WWII with the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Independence CVL 22. Edwin truly loved his family and the walks looking at mountains and visiting with his neighbors at the Meadows. His jovial personality was infectious to all. Anytime you asked Edwin how he was doing, he responded, "Fine and dandy like a piece of candy." Private family graveside services will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
