Obituary for BROWN

Audie Brown, 84, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1958 after moving here from Unionville, Missouri. Mr. Brown was a land developer in the East mountains. He was a veteran of WWII and served in Alaska, France and Germany. Audie was an active member at Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ, and liked to host Bible studies in his home. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord. Mr. Brown is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Walsie Mae "Mickey" Brown; sons, Lane Brown and wife Rietta, Dan Brown, Roger Brown and wife Cathy; grandchildren, Audie Brown and wife Laura, Pat Brown and wife Mary Louise, Tim Brown and wife Jenny, David Brown and wife Sherry, Debbie Cruz, Shane Brown and wife Danielle, Jim Brown, Sherry Aragon and husband Rich, and Danielle Brown; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Harley Brown of Mt. Home, AR; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, March 5, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ with Lane Brown, Kevin Owen and Joy Lee Brazal officiating. Pallbearers will be Audie Brown, Pat Brown, Shane Brown, Tim Brown, David Brown and Jimmy Brown. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, March 4, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 8100 Mountain Road NE, Suite 102, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
