LaVerne T. Cook, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM passed away on Sunday, February 29, 2004 in Albuquerque, NM. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years prior to her retirement in 1993. LaVerne is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Stanley Cook of Bosque Farms; three sons, Gerry Cook of Bosque Farms, Jeffrey Cook and his wife, Erika, and Eric Cook and his wife, Tonya, all of Albuquerque; one brother, Malcolm Thiesen of Oakridge, TN; two sisters, Juanita Berquist of Seattle, WA, and Deanna Bruckner of Schaumburg, IL; one grandson, Aidan; and many nieces and nephews. With the utmost respect for her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM.
