Mrs. Carmen G. Nelson, 95, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 28, 2004. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son, Frank Nelson; three grandchildren, Steve Nelson and wife, Candy, Debbie Sanchez and husband, Ray and Barbara Nelson; five great grandchildren, Crystal Garcia, Kristi Sanchez, Christopher Nelson, Francisco Nelson and Raymond Sanchez; a special Goddaughter, Agueda Sandoval; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband, Cristobal Nelson and a daughter in law, Lugardita (Wala) Nelson. Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Nelson will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation for Mrs. Nelson will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Raymond Sanchez, Christopher Nelson, Francisco Nelson, Ray Garcia, Eddie Trujillo and Joe Martinez.
