Ruth Legant Myers, age 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 48 years, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004 in Cortez, CO. She had lived there briefly while recovering from a short-term illness. Mrs. Myers is survived by two sons, Thomas D. Myers and his wife, Ramona of El Paso, TX and his children Tommy, Lt.J.G. Matthew, United States Navy, Norfolk, VA, Jennifer Ruth (Gerry), and great-granddaughter Charlotte, Phoenix, AZ; Stephen O. Myers and his wife Susan of Cortez, CO and their children Sarah and Shanna; and one daughter Kathryn Moore and her husband John of Dallas, TX and their children Kathryn and Carole. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas; her son Bill; and granddaughter Jennifer Marie. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Northeast Church of Christ. Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with John Phillis officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
