Obituary for AGUILAR

Antonia S. Aguilar, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1983 died Sunday, February 22, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Fabie Solano and husband, Andy of Raton; son, Isidro Solano and wife, Mary Jane of Corrales; daughter, Maria (Timmie) Lujan and husband, Tony of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister-in-law, Dolores (Lola) Salazar of Bernal. Mrs. Aguilar was preceded in death by her first husband, Raphael G. Solano; and her second husband Cipriano Aguilar; three infant children and one great-granddaughter. Antonia was born and raised in Bernal, NM where she dedicated herself to raising her three surviving children. She was a hard working woman who worked as a school teacher, nurse and rancher in Bernal. Antonia lived her life to the fullest. She overcame many obstacles that came her way. She was devoted to the Catholic Church and remained active through her 92 years. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel, with Deacon Bob Lewis, reciting. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until time of Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW with Fr. Joe Vigil, celebrant.
