Obituary for SAIS

Neph "Chena" Sais, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday afternoon, February 20, 2004, she is now at peace. Neph was a beloved sister and aunt. She was born in Casa Colorado, New Mexico on August 15, 1917. Neph was preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Antonia Sais and her brothers, Pilar and Valentin Sais. She is survived by her sisters, Carmen Gonzales and husband, Francisco, Dina Bisio and Sylvia Armijo; and several nieces and nephews, all of Albuquerque. Neph started her career at the Hilton Hotel and moved her way up, and later moved to California where she was a nurse. She then became the primary caregiver of her mother, Antonia. Neph was a very caring and selfless individual always there to assist her family in all ways and was a devout Catholic all her life. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:30 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barney Sais, Maurice Gonzales, Val Sais, Roney Bisio, Mario Bisio and Bennie Armijo.
