Manuel Reyes Franco, 67, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 12 years, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2004. Manuel was born October 18, 1936 the son of Sotero and Casimira Reyes Franco in Mexico. He had worked in landscaping for the Holiday Inn of Las Cruces before retiring. He came to Albuquerque from Las Cruces. Manuel is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Chon Franco of Las Cruces, NM, Pat Franco of Corona, CA, Mary Campos of Las Cruces, NM, Julie Tapia of Rio Rancho, NM, Vera Garza of Corona, CA, Jesse Franco of Rio Rancho, NM, and Mary Moreno of Paris, CA; also numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends from the Albuquerque Grand Senior Living Staff and residents. The Visitation for Manuel will be held on Friday, February 20, 2004 from 4 PM to 8 PM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Service will be on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Avenue, Rio Rancho with Pastor Si Budagher officiating.
