Obituary for WHITE

Charles "Gene" White, 38, a resident of San Antonio, Texas and a former resident of Albuquerque, died on January 20, 2004 from complications of Diabetes. He had battled Diabetes since the age of two. He is survived by parents, Charles and Pearl White of Albuquerque; sister, Marian Linkiewiez and husband, Mike of Cave Creek, Arizona; nephew, Jake Swisher and Amesha; their young daughters, Makaela and Nickole of Phoenix; and special friend, Jeannie Martinez of Phoenix. Gene graduated from Valley High School, where he made "Who's Who" two years and ENMU where he majored in business and finance. In San Antonio, Gene was employed by the Farm Bureau Bank as a bankruptcy support specialist, and was active in TASO, where he officiated high school basketball in San Antonio and outlaying districts. Gene loved sports, and had many friends in TASO organization as well as at Farm Bureau Bank. His family and many friends are devastated and will truly miss him. Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at LDS Chapel, 1100 Montano NW. Bishop Scott Thurgood and Ted Paey are officiating. Dedication will follow at Sunset memorial Park.
