Mamie G. De Tevis, 96, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2004. She was born on June 16, 1907 in Mora, New Mexico. Mrs. De Tevis is survived by her daughter, Mary Fairchild, Fabiola Torres and husband Fortune, Dolores Baca and husband Ted and Alice Sanchez and husband Fred; sister, Amada Valdez; 26 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. Visitations will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Stover Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Fred Sanchez, Freddie Sanchez, Christopher Sanchez, James Sanchez, Ted Baca and John Fairchild.
