Loretta E. Miller, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 09, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed by her loving high school sweetheart and husband of 56 years, Frank Miller of Albuquerque; daughter, Janet Letscher and husband, Richard and daughter, Theresa Miller, all of Albuquerque. She was loved by her grandchildren, Rick Letscher and wife, Shira Greenberg, Janelle Hawkins and husband, Justin, Christy Parks and Edward Parks all of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Miller, of Albuquerque and Ann Milani and husband, Bob of Medford, New York. Loretta was born on Long Island, NY. She was a proud New Yorker who loved the water and fishing in Long Island Sound. She has called Albuquerque home since 1978. Loretta loved the cool mountains, shimmering aspens and happy times shared with her family at their home in Angel Fire, NM. Her husband and family were so important to her. Loretta's gift to her family was to instill the importance of a happy marriage and strong family values in all of us. She was a member of First Family Church where she leaves many friends and memories. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2004, at First Family Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Galen Woodward and Pastor Kenneth Manley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. The family would like to send a special thanks to the Presbyterian Hospice team. They are God's earth angels. Loretta/Mom/Grandma May God Bless you and grant you the peace you deserve.
