Manuel "Manny" Blea, Jr., 75, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, February 8, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Blea-Edeskuty and husband, Fred of Jemez Springs; sons, James Blea and wife, Betty, Mark Blea and Gary Blea, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Felisha, Shannon, Katelynn, Michael and Sean; long term companion, Ellie Badsgard of Albuquerque and her children, Deborah Badsgard of Farmington and Ken Badsgard of Albuquerque; Sheryll Turner of Farmington; and Shawn Eddings of Albuquerque; sisters, Alice Duran, Georgia Baca and husband, Tony, and Theresa Gallegos and husband, Eddie; brothers, Frank Blea and wife, Gladys and Mel Marino and wife, Nina, all of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Blea retired from PNM after 38 years. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 North Plaza NW, with Linda Miaras reciting. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, with Father Jerome Plotkowski, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, P.O.
