Laura L. Liguori passed away on January 22, 2004. Laura was born on July 14, 1915 in New York City. She was married on December 7, 1937 to Ben R. Liguori who survives her. They moved to New Mexico in 1947 and have since resided there. Her son, Ralph and his wife, Olga; and her daughter, Cathy and her husband, Jim Jackson celebrate her life. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Todd Jackson, Patricia Herrera and Matthew Liguori; and great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Christian Herrera. Laura was a homemaker and an outstanding cook as anyone who was fortunate enough to eat at her table would attest. She loved to garden and was blessed with a green thumb. Laura was an excellent bridge player who achieved the status of Bronze Life Master in the ACBL. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on February 7, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. at Our lady of Assumption Church, on the corner of Tennessee and Lomas, NE. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her name to the Audubon Society or the American Cancer Society.
